The Parkside Group Limited Genesis Estimating Software
In 1997 The Parkside Group Limited took a little known estimating software package from Softtech, New Zealand. Nine years on and sixty releases later, we have achieved the most advanced estimating and fabrication scheduling software available.
The Parkside Group Limited's Genesis Estimating Software has been designed and is maintained by aluminium estimators and fabricators, not by an I.T. company. This approach helps us to ensure that the program is not only flexible, but is easy to use. Unlike many estimating packages, the program is future proof allowing us to continually develop the software. Genesis is an all-in-one solution; it will estimate, provide fabrication cutting lists and even produce CadLink drawings. (No previous knowledge of AutoCAD is required).
Genesis will provide detailed reports that are presentable, professional and practical. The following details are available: quote sheets, labour, material lists, CAD drawings, extrusion cutting sheets (including raking and curving), glass cutting sheets (including raking and curving) and survey drawings.
The yearly fee allows the installation of one copy of the stand-alone software, full training at Head Office, training manuals and updates. A network copy is also available.
The Parkside Group Limited offer demonstrations of the software at our Head Office, which can be organised at your convenience.
Genesis Training
No previous knowledge of estimating software is required. However, it is preferable that you have at least a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows. We have four dedicated training PC's, but have the ability to upgrade to six. All training is relaxed and you work at your own speed, using the manuals with a trainer on hand in case you need help. We understand that not everyone looks forward to using computers and find that this approach allows us to train more than one person at a time. Lunch is also provided.
